Coronavirus Update
Important information from Christopher Burgess at Illuminate Consult
After recently developing cardiac and respiratory health issues, I have recently been diagnosed with asymptomatic Covid-19, probably from as far back as June.
This is not immediately life-threatening, but I remain subject to medical supervision and as yet do not have a definitive prognosis.
As you will understand, I have had to curtail many of my normal work/life activities.
In addition to this, there continues to be an embargo on any closed environment training and this is unlikely to change for the foreseeable future.
I am very aware of the impact coronavirus has had on the firework sector and related industries but can also see that some limited activities may still be taking place.
Training
I am unable to consider any training or operational work until at least February 2021 and will keep this under review dependant on my personal health and the prevailing coronavirus restrictions.
Should you have persons that require new competency training for planned CAT F4 activities, you can contact me directly and I can offer further advice on this matter.
Competency Certification
If you have an Illuminate competency certification that expired after March 26 this year, I will be able to offer a certification extension up to the end January 2021. This will be subject to a simple personal declaration.
I will be contacting all persons who have expired certifications in this period with full details.
Contacting Illuminate
I have a number of outstanding enquiries from individuals over the last few months and will be working through these over the next week or so.
If you need to contact me before then, please email services@illuminateconsult.co.uk
I sincerely wish you all well during this troubled time and am hopeful that 2021 will see me back in full health and looking at a reviving firework industry.
Please all stay safe.
Christopher Burgess. October 2010
